    Hey!

I'm a 23 yr old girl moving over to Sydney next week on my own, starting a job with a Medical Device company on a three month contract and hoping to find some friendly house mates for a couple of months! I'll be on my second WHV with great hopes to get sponsorship eventually! Would be great to meet some people with same interests - like to get out for a surf (pretty much still a novice though!), play hockey and socialise in evenings, anything outdoorsy really!

    Cheers guys :)

Welcome to boards Penguinhead, hopefully someone will be along that may be able to assist.

Do you have any idea of the suburbs you want to live?

    Thanks!

I'l be working in Homebush Bay so I'm looking to live somewhere near public transport. I was looking at Manly but apparently I'd have to get a ferry and 3 trains to work, not exactly a reasonable distance! Id prefer to live on the coast and have a longer commute than live in the city, but otherwise I've heard that Surry Hills or Newtown are nice enough spots. Any opinions on these would be grerat help!

I've a room going in an apartment Pyrmont, about a 10 minute walk to Town Hall station.

Drop me a PM for more details :)
