Job Vacancies that are not advertised too much

I heard over the weekend that citi bank are employing people. None of their job vacancies are on jobs.ie etc... but they have supposidly recruited a good few this year. Anyone know of any other businesses that are hiring at the moment that wouldnt be shown on jobs.ie? Another example would be deutsche bank. I remember seeing job vancancies on their website but when I went to jobs.ie they had none.

OP Citibank recruit direct and they use recruitment agencies too. They have taken on a good few staff in 2011 and from what I hear there is a bit of a turnover problem in there so expect more in 2012.

Otherwise cover your bases and send in speculative applications to other targeted employers. Make sure your CV & cover letter are strong and you'll get put into the 'call if a position becomes available' pile.

My understanding is that a significant proportion of the ' jobs ' filled by Citibank have in fact been unpaid internships.

Just given this thread a boost. Anyone that could help us out well appreciated. I NEED A JOB get under reasons why but I seriously need a job and desperate to get one. Anyone please!!
