I've scanned the headings and have not found a thead on this, much to my suprise...

I first played rugby as an eight year old. That was nearly forty years ago. A lot of water has passed beneath the bridge since.

Unfortunately this flanker never advanced further than the seconds, mainly due to a lack of talent, or as I would tell due to career choices that meant I've spent the last twenty years or so as an expat in countries that didn't offer an opportuninty.

So. That's my rugby career bushed.

But. I have followed closely the fortunes of our provinces and of course our national team, with great pride and anticipation.

    Now this?

F*ckwits, no other word for it. It stinks of a power stuggle between the Blazers and the achievers.

IMHO, This dictact will destroy Irish Rugby. It is so obvious as to be almost unbelieveable.

After the success we've had What the hell are they thinking?

I'd prefer it they'd do something so save club rugby, thats in the doldrums.

Man, am I mad about this.
