Dunno if anyone's been watching 3e tonight but does anyone know what the story is? It's been off air for over an hour now and it just says "We apologise for the break. Normal transmission will resume shortly."

I see that message when I look at 3e on Sky but American Dad is showing as normal when I look at 3e through Saorview.

I see that's odd and I'm using UPC myself I would originally say it's most likely a digital problem but if Saorview is picking it up thats strange. Only thing I can guess is Saorview uses a different frequency to Sky and UPC. It's a shame too cause I was in the middle of watching the Graham Norton Christmas Special cause I missed it and then it went all loopy and that message came up and has been up ever since. Looks like I'm going to miss Family Guy too now. What a pity. Thanks for the reply though, I wasnt sure how big the fault was.

3e had a problem with the link to the BT Tower uplink which caused them to go off air on Sky Digital CH105.

3e was available on Saorview at the time.
RTE1, RTE2, TV3 and TG4 were all available on Sky while 3e was off.
