    Hi
Having a slight problem since changing my cousins DS Lite top screen (which I have changed a few and no problems til now) when I turn it on now the green power light comes on for a few seconds then the bottom screen flashes and it turns itself off have rechecked all the connections and all seem to be ok .
Has anyone any ideas what could be wrong
There is no game card in the console when I tried but don’t think this matters
    Please help

    Thanks

its a blown fuse on the DS motherboard.
its pretty small soldering to repair so you might want to pay someone to replace the fuse for you.
Does the console still charge ?

    hi
    thanks for that
i have a little bit electronics experience so would bridging the fuse or fuses be option easier ?
    Also which one F1 or F2 ?
I thought none of the lights would come on when the fuses were blown ?

    thanks

Bridging them would work but if something was to happen to the DS again there would be no fuse to blow and there would be damage to the mainboard.

The lights would flash for a split second then cut out for a fuse problem.

Being honest I havn't a clue which fuse to replace,
If it was me I'd replace both for good measure
