Humax 5600s and Disecq

    Hi,
    Wonder if anyone can help?
    Bought a Humax 5600s in order to watch Italian channels from Hotbird and English from Astra 2 (have 2 dishes). The problem is that when I try to search Astra 2 having already got Hotbird on one disecq port, the receiver insists on searching Hotbird again even though I have switched to another port for Astra 2. Would appreciate any help? Am in south of Ireland and have perfect reception of the 2 sats on 80cm Triax dishes.

    try a manual scan for hotbird. its the same on the dm800. unless you choose a manual scan it will search all satellites.

    Thanks garrycann. Have discovered that this receiver is set up to give priority to Hotbird. It searches Hotbird first and then only searches for other nominated sats regardless of which Disecq port is assigned to Hotbird. In my case I had assigned Disecq B to Hotbird and Disecq A to Astra 2. Problem solved and receiver is working perfectly.
