    Hi all,

Thought I'd come to the knowledge hub to check out whats going on with moterhbaords.

I have an OCZ Agility 3 that I'm RMA'ing for being fail. While at it I figured I'd grab a new motherboard.

    I have an AMDPhenom IIx4 955 processor.

    Why a new mobo?
    1. I have DDR3 ram in a DDR2 board
    2. I want 6GB Sata for the SSD
    3. I want USB 3.0
    4. I want something with a better layout

I'm willing to spend €100 max. A nice layout would be good, my GPU covers my SATA ports which is very frustraing.

Any advice appreciated, and hopefully this time my SSD doesnt fail so much.

What CPU/Socket type are you looking for/want?

I'm going to assume you have an AM3 socket, This is going to be your best bet with a budget of €100, I believe.

Seems to have what I need, according to overclockers.co.uk( bit better on spec description ) it has SEVEN Sata 3 connections.

Will pencil that one in, want to see if there are any alternatives, while the budget maybe €100, doesn't mean I want to spend €100.

I'll have a look around for a cheaper alternative if you want to spend less.

This one here has support for 6gb/s sata ports, probably the cheapest your going to get that has all of the specifications you wanted.

Must check some detailed design specs.

I want to make sure no SATA ports are covered by my GPU like my current mobo. There looks to be a PCI slot there that if a GPU went into it, would cover the sata ports.

Will look into it all more over the weekend, cheers, but that looks a good shout
