    Actually your comparison is incorrect here...CPC and Farnell are 2 separate businesses even though they're owned by the same parent company. CPC is often cheaper than Farnell and is nothing to do with UK/Ireland differences. You will in fact see that the prices on the UK and Irish sites are extremely fair!

    Also the ebay comparison is irrelevant as it's a different part from a different manufacturer. CPC also offers free shipping.

    Ah well that explains alot! My mistake then. I always just assumed they were the same company just changed their url when porting to Ireland. Still a big difference between the 2 Irish companies on much the same products.

    The more expensive site is a retail site with vat inclusive prices. Probably aimed towards the occasional buyer.

    The other sites are business to business sites, with trade prices excluding vat and using exact exchange rates (1.203) for their Irish site.
