rte1 on digital - sound but no picture

    Hi everyone,
    up until yesterday all was well with my rte1 reception from the freesat dish. But this morning when we turned on the telly all we could get on rte 1 is sound and no picture (just a black screen).
    Anyone know if the station has been moved slightly on the satellite system and if so how do i locate it.
    I know i can do a full search but that will bring up every station on the system and i'll finish up with a list of stations a mile long ! So if it's just a matter of retuning say the irish stations how do i go about that?

    The RTE 1 on Freesat is RTE Radio 1, so I wouldn't expect a picture.

    Presume you mean satellite dish but Freesat box. If Freesat box then no RTE1 just UK freesat channels and as other poster puts it RTE Radio 1. To get RTE 1 on satellite you need a subscription.

    yea i probably messed up that post of mine through ignorance of what i was talking about!
    The good news is the whole thing came back on again the next day and all is now well.
