Hey I got a couple of wireless senze usb gamepads for pc. Now they look badass being see through with luminous green lights but how do they work? :p Never used a gamepad for PC, what games do they work with, how do I find out?

Everything works fine in calibration testing but it makes my snes emulator crash :p What games do you guys use them for?

Is there any good software to get to make it work with games that are not supported? I have seen xpadder and joy2key at a quick google, what do people use?

I bought a wireless 360 controller adapter, works perfectly in the games that need it (Super Meat Boy, Cave Story and the likes) without any problems.

I also have a generic controller, it works ok, but not as well as the 360 controller does.

360 controller is the boss controller of all the other controllers.

I do like to keep a Playstation type controller for emulators though.

Definitely get the 360 one. Or if you already have one, just get the receiver to use it on the PC. Ever since using it, I wouldn't dream of going back to other gamepads.

I use a wired 360 controller, best option by miles imo.

Rarely have any reason to use a gamepad for PC games; any games I play on PC are usually ones which work better with a mouse/keyboard. When I do, I use the 360 controller, or the Wii Classic Controller if I need a decent dpad.

Have you personally used these? if so whats their delivery time like? any problems with them?

I'm considering buying that from them since that is the cheapest i've ever seen it.

    What OS have you

    For Win7 & Vista (maybe)

    Install Software on disc
Plug in receiver to USB device
    Go to Device Manager
Click on Other Devices then right click unknown device
    Choose Update Driver software
Choose Browse my Computer for driver software
    Then choose Let me pick....
Select Microsoft Controller for Windows Class, hit next
Select Microsoft Wireless Receiver, hit next
Select yes to the pop-up and your done

Vista and win7 have the drivers pre-installed in the OS
XP you must download them or use the one on the disc

If you're going to be emulating old games from the pre analogue stick era, use a PS3 pad as the D pad on that is much, much closer to the originals. The d pad on the 360 controller is terrible.

For any game which requires fine movement in a 3d environment though 360 is yer only man.

TBH if I am emulating old games I just use my arcade stick anyways, that's what it is for :D
