I haven't bought a pre-paid phone in a long time so bare with me.

Does anyone know if O2 still lock their phones?

    Particulary the Samsung Galaxy Y?

    Thanks

To network unlock your phone means that you want to use a SIM card from another network in your phone. If you're a Prepay customer and want to network unlock your phone, you’ll need to have registered the device and topped up by at least €150 after the device was registered. This sometimes won’t be possible especially if you’re having problems with your phone abroad and O2 doesn’t work with the phone company you’re with abroad. If that’s the case get in touch with one of our moderators online at our O2 forum.
