Dying Hair Extensions?

I got human clip in hair extensions for xmas, They were oredered online but iv got them today and they are way to light for my hair. My natural hair colour is a medium brown and the extensions are more of a caramel colour. Would it be safe enough to dye them myself as i would like to wear them for new years and i wouldnt…

has anyone done it before or would i be better off going to a hairdresser to get them done?

Yes once they are real hair you can dye them, i've dyed mine twice already.What i will say is don't dye them too much or leave the dye on over the recommended time as it can dry the hair out.
