    Hi,
does anyone have any hints as to what might come up in this exam? He never even mentioned the exam in the last lecture!!
One of the tutors mentioned that there was a rumour that a picture would come up for question 2, did anyone else hear this?

You can get the past papers off this site: http://library.nuim.ie/expert - might be of use. Normally, your classnotes will be enough with a little reading to get you through. The extracts that come up on the first part of the exam will only have been selected from the handouts. So nothing you haven't seen or heard in class. Unless they've changed the system this year... which would be unusual.

There's a great little book called 'The Fall Of The Roman Republic' by David Shotter, it's only about a hundred pages, you'd read it in a couple of hours. Covers most of what would've been in your course, has a great timeline in the back. Worth checking it out in the library.

And the Rome module is GC103... make sure you're preparing for the right thing! Don't want to show up for one exam having studied for the other.

    Good luck.
