Got a mic for xmas- need help!

    My partner got me this mic for xmas: http://www.waltons.ie/Product/View.aspx?id=10846 He didnt know anything much about it when he was buying it he just got a mic cable and thought it would plug into computer, Im complete beginner too and iv read up a bit and found out i need phantom power to power it. could anyone tell me what product i need to make this work and to start recording?? Thank you! Mad to get it going!

    If you wish to take audio into your computer from the mic then you'll need an audio interface that has mic inputs + phantom power. That will be easy to source. Pretty much any music store can help you there.

    Or take it back to Waltons and change it for a USB microphone. Much easier, and cheaper than getting another box.
