Problem getting wi-fi access

Hey all. Iv a problem with internet access atm but i'm sure there must be an easy fix I don't know about.

My router is out of range from me so I have a 25meter Ethernet cable running from it. The Ethernet cable coming from the router is connected to an old router beside me here, this allows me to run several internet connections in the room but only via Ethernet cables because the old routers wi-fi is ******.

I have an ipod touch 5.0.1 and an android phone now which I cant get wi-fi access to from here.

All I have is my laptop, the 2 devices and internet access via Ethernet cable. Is there anything I can buy or do to get wi-fi connection for my 2 devices? I would settle for having to connect them to the laptop via USB but as of yet I don't see how. Cheapest option preferably guys. Thanks for any help you can give.

Swap routers around. Have the wired one beside puter and have the wireless one plugged in via Ethernet beside you?

Might be a possible solution, although the main router is UPC and has 2 home phones connected to it, this old thing beside me is Netgear so i'm not sure if they would be compatible to switch around. I will try tomor and fingers crossed, thanks for the suggestion seanybiker, good thinking ;)

I got it! I just use this free application which uses my Ethernet connection and shares it over my Wi-Fi access point, it makes my laptop send out a wopping wi-fi connection from the cable, and was very simple to use, now iv a personalized password protected wi-fi connection giving me over 30megs here now.......so happy! thanks for the help
