I really like him how do I show it

    I almost never stop thinking about him, its hard not to. Since I started having feeling for him I have tried to distance myself because stuff never work out, but now am sick of it. How can I get to know him better?, thing is we are in different groups and his friends dislike me very highly. ( welk just his besr friend) and we only have one class together everyday. In those classes he always makes me laugh and I love just sitting in that class with him. So basicly how can I find out what type of girl he likes without asking? And how can I get to know him better?

    Plus am black on top of that and I figure liking a black girl might be odd because I see my race an acquired taste.. Or do others see it differently.

    Have you been able to get a read on him? Do you see any signs that he's interested (eye contact, smiling etc)? Even if you haven't I wouldn't worry too much, I read an article a while ago that people are more attracted to people they know are interested in them*. You might be better off just taking the bull by the horns in this case. Ask him to help you with homework / out for a coffee / what music he is interested in etc. Get a rapport going and ask him out relatively quickly. Don't mess around being subtle, no use dragging things out and ending up disappointed. Worst case scenario he won't be interested, but at least you will know for sure and can move on.

    The colour of your skin shouldn't make any difference, if it does then he's an idiot and not worth wasting time on. Doesn't matter what his friend thinks either.

    Well - I'm black, my husband's Irish. He would tell you I'm the most beautiful woman in the world!! :D

    I second what the previous poster said. Try to get a handle on how he views you. Invite him out for coffee. If you're not yet ready for a 1-2-1 situation, invite a small gang out (about 4-6 people).

    If you don't try, you won't know! Good luck!
