Whats meteors 1gb data package like?

    Im possibly getting a new work phone but i want to keep a phone with my own personal number because i have had it for years.

    Meteors 15 yoyo a month plan looks very good value, im just wondering are there any catches to their 1 gig data package?

    i live in dublin so im assuming coverage will be good over 3g? am i correct in thinking data is 99c per mb when abroad? (im spoiled with the vodafone contract i have, i am on the free data worldwide gravy train but it isnt worth 45 a month to keep it i dont think)

    is there a better alternative?

    3 is 20 a month for all you can eat data which is 15gb a month afaik. Well worth it.

    There's no hidden catches i can think of. You get a 1GB every month on the 14th, haven't gone over that as i'm afraid what i'll get charged.

    Roaming also will give a hefty charge aswell so be aware.

    Coverage wise , meteor is fine, i'm almost always on HSPA in Dublin.

    @Sean Do you get any calls and texts with that 20 month plan. 15Gb of internet is HUGE :eek::eek:

    If he is talking about the prepay offer then yes, 3,000 texts, 3,000 weekend minutes to any number and 3,000 3 to 3 anytime minutes.

    Meteor have limited their over allowance charges to a daily charge of 69c for data up to 50mb. It's when you go over this that you get fleeced.
    I think this was enforced by the eu.
    Handy when your coming up to end of month and are watching the data.
