Don't really want to start a new thread but what would be a solution or exercise for coming to quick ? It's just off putting for me having sex to know it will be over so quickly and that the girl may not be happy. So I try to put it off for as long as I can. Too be honest I wouldn't have had sex more than 3-4 times, so I can't comment on other positions as really don't have much experience due too this.

Also is it really true the average time of sex is 5-6 mins ?

    Hey there,

Have given you your own thread, fairer on OP's when the replies in each thread are pertinent to the poster that started it.

    1) Kegel exercises seem to be good for premature ejaculation problems...

    See section 4:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kegel_exercise
There are said to be significant benefits for the problem of premature ejaculation from having more muscular control of the pelvis

    2) I've never timed it :)
This time thing also depends on when was the last time you had sex before, how excited you are, etc.

Might be worth having a look at this, paragraph 3 http://www.news-medical.net/news/2008/04/01/36825.aspx
As we are all different, it doesn't mean that 3-7 min will suit everybody needs :p

Never knew about the exercises, it never actually mentions a % after doing the exercises. Then again I didn't really look into it, I have always hidden from it, but it needs to be addressed. Would this problem be common in men? Also what about women, can there be issues also ? (That's more of a curious question!).

I guess it's hard to accurately quantify the improvements and express them as a %age following this type of training (I'm not sure though, there might be studies around showing some figures in %).
The other thing is, although it matters to some extend, it's not all about performance... it's also about both partners enjoying themselves, feelings, etc.
Then again I didn't really look into it, I have always hidden from it, but it needs to be addressed.

Do them, they are just exercises, so no risk! Do a bit of research about it as there are ways of doing them (alternating reps / holding...). These exercises are good for both gender.

Would this problem be common in men?

Common... may be, I don't know the exact figures (i.e., stats), but you sometimes hear about erectile disfunction or premature ejaculation problems. So, I'd say it's not unusual to experience this.
Also what about women, can there be issues also ? (That's more of a curious question!).
The issues are different (e.g., lack of sexual desire, previously called frigidity) then there might be more, I'm not a gynecologist :)

There are many simple way to ensure you last longer.

    1) Have a **** a few hours before you know you are gonna be giving her one.

    2) Have a couple of drinks before the act

    3) Wear a thick "safety" condom

    4) Think of your Mother while your doing it.

    Best of Luck.
