Tracking a Ford (car) Shipment

Anyone here work in a Ford dealers by any chance?

I'm waiting on a new company car and wondering when it will enter the country. It's a Mondeo built in Belgium and I gather it was "at a dock" in Genk(?) on 16/12 awaiting the next ferry. Do these things run once a month or more/less? I would have thought at this time of the year they're busy enough? Do they come direct to Cork or loop to ports around UK first? Has a ship come in since then? It won't be registered until Jan anyway but I wanna know if it'll be in by then without continuing to annoy the lease company! :)

    Any help much appreciated!

Just continue to annoy the lease company. They'll want it registered and out the door in January if at all possible, so they'll be quite happy to put the pressure on Ford for you.

As far as the ship is concerned, I think they run every few weeks. At least they did.

Thanks ah yeah to be fair the lease company have been really helpful but I know if pretty much now depends on when Ford next have a shipment (which I doubt they could influence!!!). I'm just wondering if anyone in the know happened to know if the ship was in recently or will be before the weekend. I thought maybe someone on here might work in a Ford dealers or something!

Thanks for that. I guess I could try calling the dealer they're getting the car off otherwise now that I think of it!
