    Seasons greetings to all.

A quick question, I have a 160gb hp pocket media drive (very handy) that I want to replace with a bigger one but cannot find any place even online that sells or ships to Ireland and I'm wondering what the problem is.
Do people out there know something that I dont regarding these drives as the one I have was supplied with the pc when I bought it in pc world in galway about 4 years ago, and hp are not exactly a fly by nigtht outfit.
    Thanks in advance.

Iomega, Western Digital, Seagate etc all do multimedia hard drives. I'm guessing you mean one in which you can plug in direct to the TV and play media. HP don't manufacture hard disk drives so they likely use one of the few Samsung, Seagate, Western Digital, Fujitsu etc who do. So don't think you need to go HP for relyability, Iomega have used Samsung hard disks which I have had good expierience with, also Western Digital are good.
The price of hard disks has recently increased hugely due to the flooding in Thailand, if you can hold off buying for a few weeks, I would. Expect prices to go well down in price by March~

Thanks for the reply, but what I was referring to is called a hp pocket media drive that actually slots into a bay in the front of my pc, push the button and hey presto it slips out again, very handy and portable.
I've just realised I should probably talk to currys on the biz forum.

I can move this there for you if you like?
