Please Recommend Fridge-Freezer for Cool Conditions

    Hi folks,

Can you recommend a fridge freezer for operation in a cool environment (an unheated conservatory - temps never drops below 0 degrees C but can drop below 5 degrees C on very cold days)?

The oul wans got a Zanussi fridge-freezer recently and installed it in their conservatory (just off the kitchen, kitchen was too small to accommodate it). They quickly noticed that food from the freezer wasn't properly frozen so they got a thermometer and noticed that the fridge and freezer weren't keeping temperature once the external (constervatory) temperature dropped below 10 degrees C. As this poses a serious potential health hazard the fridge-freezer had to be returned.

I am aware that not all fridges or freezers will operate in cool temperatures (I've recently bought a freezer for my shed which operates down to -15 degrees C) (I think it has something to do with the viscosity of the working fluid in the refridgeration mechanism increasing with reducing temperature but don't quote me on that one) But I'm having some problems finding a fridge-freezer (ideally with fridge on top) that operates in cool temperatures. Any help will be much appreciated!

    c
