Fav TV Show- Oz, brilliant show and such a shame it's not shown over here anymore for some reason.

Song- Nothing Else Matter Metallica, other then the fact that they're my favorite band, NEM is my fav song.

Movie- Terminator 2, used to love it when I was a kid, and still like to bust out the old movie once in a while.

Quote- "You can have my gun after you pry it from my cold dead fingers" The bad guy in Men In Black said it. Seemed like a pretty badass thing to say.

Person- Micheal Collins(Irish revolutionary) for obvious reasons.

    people-
am a particular fan of temple grandin, stephen wiltshire & tito mukhopadhyay because they all have classic autism and have been extremely successful in their lives, despite tito especialy being the most low functioning and coming from a country which largely views autists as subhuman and completely lacks the understanding of autism.

-its a irritant of mine that there is a worth hierarchy created of people on the autism spectrum, successes are always attached to aspergers, people even still try to label temple as being aspie purely because of her sucesses,we can be talented in different ways to-people are usualy blinded to it by prejudices through society.

another person that is on favourite list is a support staff whom have known for several years now,she is without a doubt the most accepting person around, she lets people have their own view without saying- thats wrong or right, she doesnt force her own views on people, she is incredibly understanding and knows more about autism than many specialists.
she is a great friend as well when she works at our place.

    Fav quote
Man's unfailing capacity to believe what he prefers to be true rather than what the evidence shows to be likely and possible has always astounded me. We long for a caring Universe which will save us from our childish mistakes, and in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary we will pin all our hopes on the slimmest of doubts. God has not been proven not to exist, therefore he must exist.

    Show: The Sopranos

Song: Very difficult, changes all the time. At the moment it's probably 'Ramshackle' by Beck. He's probably my favourite artist of all time, so one of his songs is always consistently up there.

    Movie: Pulp Fiction, probably.

Quote: 'I'm such a great lover because I practice with myself a lot.' - Woody Allen

Person: I admire M.I.A a lot. I think she's an exceptional artist and has led a pretty amazing life.

Song: Sitting on the dock of the bay.

    Movie: Kill Bill Vol 1.

Quote: "Love many, trust few, and always paddle your own canoe."

Person I admire the most: My auld pair. Famous would probably be the late Christopher Hitchens.

Song - Can i claim the wish you were here album as one song?

    TV show - generation kill

Book - Short history of nearly everything

Thought provoking statement: (click this first http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pale_Blue_Dot.png)

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.

Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.

The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.

quote - in twenty years time you will regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did do (mark twain)

    Film - i really can't pick!

Show; The Sopranos. I never thought I'd get withdrawal symptons from a television programme but I keep hoping to hear of the series being reprised for a new run. Anthony Jr. would make a serious bad ass.

Song; Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush, Don't Give Up. Reflects my life to a tee

Movie; The Life of Brian. Part of it is because it was banned here when it first was released and all your friends knew a mate of a first cousin who had gone over to the UK and saw it. Eventually, I got to see a copy of a copy of a grainy copy with bits blurry. Try telling young people that today and they don't understand. I have watched that film at least once a year now for the last 25 years and it breaks me up each time

Quote; Homer Simpson; "Beer, the cause of and the solution to all of life's problems"

Person; My parents. We all love our parents but mine sacrified a lot for me as a kid, not just financially but they were there every step of the way on a difficult journey and, thankfully, they still are.

Alright Brain, you don't like me, and I don't like you. But lets just do this, and I can get back to killing you with beer.
