Can anyone ID this insect?

    Hi everyone - this insect was flying around my apartment earlier & landed on my coffee table so I took a few photos of it as I've never seen anything like it before!
    It is green in colour with what looks to be a hard back that's split in two and a reddy/brown bit at the end. Can anyone enlighten me?

    It could be some sort of Cockroach.
