    Hey Aoife, funnily enough I picked one of these up today and to be honest I'm very impressed, the full HD is excellent making it great for consoles and a very good PC monitor too.

    The picture quality is great, the tv also looks nice, the sound would be the only let down, it's got absolutely no bass but has got a headphone socket so you could pick up some cheap speakers as its so cheap. Saying that I only tried it for gaming and five seconds of TV which didn't sound too bad.

    I'd really recommend this I can see nothing that competes with it and worst case scenario(the sound issue) you'll have to spend ~€15 on some speakers or return the tv and get something with better speakers!

    I've had a 19" Tesco TV and we've got a 32" Philips, both older but more expensive this is by far the best picture.

    thank you very much your input is really helpful :) I think I might just pick this telly up. one question though,how are the blacks on the TV as I've seen with a lot of cheap TVs they can be very dark and loses detail in the picture?

    I really wouldn't be able to comment on that, they look fine to me, contrast is good.

    Also you can plug in a USB and playback .avi files which is a plus!
