No, it was on the 3rd floor.
But alas....the place your talking about is gone! Surely the worst shopping centre in Dublin by now. But yes, the Toymaster is gone, there was some super offers.

Desolate wasteland of a place - so many empty units. I haven't heard recently, but up until six months ago the shop owners were complaining because the rents just kept going up and up in the place, and they'd be driven out of business by it.

On the bright side, I suppose for every shop that closes, Pagoda gets another window to shove a picnic basket or model ship in!

Rents being reviewed again soon, February\March, apparently. My Mum knows people who work there and the mood is grim.. There seems to be a disconnect with the 'owners' and the 'occupiers'.

Any chance the ten twenty shop will still try to sell the guns ? maybe they will go down on the price.

rumours that they want to force out/move downstairs whoever is left on the top floor and build apartments on top (tesco probably don't need their offices up there any more either)

Sad to hear that this place is closing too. Have fond memories of this place from the 80's when we used to go to Dun Laoghaire and Bray during the Summer, visited the shopping centre (they weren't common then) and looked forward to going into the toy shop. The Celtic Tiger really changed Summer holidays. I can't imagine any kids looking forward to a trip to Dun Laoghaire these days!
