Broken tv by wii remote

Any answers will be grately appreciated.

When we bought the tv we got extra insurance - do you think this would be covered by the insurance

Should we say that the wii remote hit it or that it maybe fell off the stand

That sounds like the screen is broken and the liquid crystal is leaking. If so, you will need either a new panel or a new TV.
