Why Kian and Jodi won't show off new baby Koa to fans

I never liked the Westlife runt tbh... the other lads seem grounded enough but he seems to think that he's a member of The Beatles, as opposed to a pretty boy covers band.

But I never thought the guy would sell the birth of his child..

Why shouldn't he?? If I'd just had a child and some magazine offered me ridiculous sums I'd sell the pictures in an instant. Its just going to be pics of them with the child in their house. Really don't see the problem with that.
Same goes for wedding pics. If someone wants to buy them why wouldn't you sell them?

I kind of agree. Some "Pap" will just reap the benefits of getting the first shot of the baby, so why not sell it and make loads of money!?

He's not selling the birth of his child, he's selling pictures of his child. He has enough money to last multiple life times and Westlife are very high profile right now so he doesn't need the publicity. Maybe they thought that whether they agreed to it or not, pictures of their child would end up out there anyway. This way, they are taking control of the situation and the child will be far safer having his photo taken in a safe environment, than some arsehole pap following him to get a snap.

Once the photo's have been published in the magazine, no pap will be arsed following them around as the pictures won't have any value. If they continue to appear in magazines over the years and sell every aspect of their child's life then they can be considered greedy soulless gob****es but if this is a one off then they are obviously acting in the child's best interests.

high profile? haha,only in their own world
cant remember shane selling any of his childrens pictures and that was when they still had a bit of success,plus he's higher profile than kian.
i have my doubts there are paps following them to get a picture. nobody cares about them. the childs safety is certainly not an issue.
the money they got offered was for a 2part special, pregnancy part was published already, this is just the second part follow up.

If he didn't make a few quid from the images, some pap would simply cash in on it.. the first images of any celebrity baby are worth a fortune, but only until they are made public..

If they didn't sell the image, some photographer would have snapped the baby in some candid shot and cashed in.. He's dead right imho.
