Les 3 Vallées in January

    Hi,
I'm going skiing at the end January for a week and am looking to find a 'sunny' resort in France. Usually we go skiing in March and the weather is quite nice so this is never really an issue.

By 'sunny', I'm referring to resorts that are known for catching the sun, such as Serre Chevalier and Chamonix. We were hoping to go somewhere in Les Trois Vallées (Les Menuires, Val Thorens etc. ) Would anyone have any suggestions?

Val Thorens was the sunnyest when I was there last Jan. Most of the resorts end up in the shade at some stage in the day but the ski area is so huge you can pick your routes to stay in the sun.
