Getting away for 'one'

    Hey,

I've a few days off to take in January and I'd really like to head away somewhere in Ireland on my own, but I'm not sure where...

I know I want to be able to go walking and read my book over nice coffee but other than that I'm fairly restricted as to where I can go as I don't have a car and I don't want to spend a fortune. So, I'm basically ruling out places inaccessible by public transport and health spas.

With those limiting conditions could anyone make any suggestions where I could go?

    Happy Christmas and New Years!

Where are you based yourself Boolanacasca ?

I only ask because you didn't tell us what part of the country you want to get away from.

After all, there would be little point in someone here suggesting a nice little spot for you if you live down the road from it. :)

You don't have to be too specific. General area or province will do.

That little bit of info will help others on this thread to give you much better suggestions.

Especially if you are using public transport.

Happy Christmas and New Years to you too. :)
