    He is a legend but this is desperate. The fake laugh machine at everything makes it even worse, coz you realise they are actually trying to make you laugh at that point.

    Ah it's not that bad. Bet those guys were actual armed robbers and the fake robbers will show up now, the same plot was on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Some of it is cringey yes.

    Caught about 40 seconds of it while flicking through the channels and the laugh track must of kicked in about 5 times for just random stuff :eek:

    I'd agree with the second post.. Pat is a funny guy, funny at impressions... you'd wonder how they managed to make it WORSE than Killinaskully, that took some doing..

    Wtf, is with this, I thought that Mattie was about the detective with the female sidekick, or is that a different show altogether? I don't remember there being canned laughter on it.

    No doubt though - like Brendan O'Carroll's similarly "hilarious" effort - it'll get amazeballs ratings from those who never venture beyond channel 3 on the oul telly :rolleyes: :(

    It's watchable if you only have basic UPC and there's nothing else on.

    Forced my self to watch 20 mins of it.

    I understand rte regard the general public as ignorant backward hicks who'll laugh at anything, and I accept that.

    I understand that Killinaskully was hugely successful, and RTE feel, well that's the market that's out there.

    and they're right.


    But nothing, absolutely nothing, could excuse this outrageously bad drivel.


    It makes me cringe with shame.


    I only hope it makes RTE cringe also.

    But I doubt it.
