Heading over to Krakow for four nights in January. We're staying just outside the City Centre and plan on doing the usual touristy things, Salt Mines etc. I've read that there are a number of Ski Resorts nearby and am interested in hearing anybody's experience with them. Would it be possible to fit a day trip into our itinerary? That is, head out to one of these places for a day's skiing then back to our hotel in the city the same day. We are all complete skiing novices. Any advice appreciated!
