Claiming tax back from cancelled Ryanair flight?

I was due to fly out tomorrow but will now not be doing so. How do I claim the tax back from that Ryanair flight, rather than let them keep it?

I tried to change the flight date and they wanted to charge me euro 50 for each way - it's therefore cheaper to book a fresh flight and forget about this.

But how do I claim the taxes from the existing flight, or do they have "admin fees" which are so high it's a waste of time to reclaim the tax?
