Hi all i got a Garmin 705 from Santa but it only has basic maps on it and was wandering if there is a way of loading better more detailed map on to a sd card and up loading it on the Garmin

Based on Open Streetmap material & updated quite regularly - http://talkytoaster.info/ukmaps.htm.

Have used with Nuvi series in-car GPS units without issue and see they're compatible with navigation capable Edge series units.
