I'm having a little tropuble with my keyboard drivers. On boot up the keyboard usuall works fine, I can log in and type my password. After the log in to windows I get a prompt to install device drivers for my keyboard. I can click canel and everything will work but I keep getting a prompt to install them. If I click any of the other options of searching online for them, ask me later or never ask me again, the keyboard stops working. and the device drivers fail to install.
I'm using a Dell Quiet keyboard and this even happens with my new logitech G15 keyboard.

Any suggestions on what to do yto fix this? Microsoft security essentials doesn't find any viruses/malware that could be causing this. Could it be virus related?

Did the problem start when you first used the G15 keyboard ? I'd be guessing you need to run the CD that came with it .

There may be a Logitech software loading on startup - if you dont have the software CD you can run msconfig and disable it under Startup tab . Reboot will be required . The problem may come back if/when you connect that keyboard again though .
