Bikini for holiday in the Canaries

    Hi,

    I am going on holidays to the Canaries in early January and Im looking to buy a new bikini for the trip. One of my sister's friends said that her husband bought her a thong bikini for their summer holiday this year and she loved it. I was thinking that I might be brave enough to buy one. Does anyone know where I might buy a thong bikini in Ireland? I havent been to the Canaries before but I presume its ok to wear a thong on the beach there!

    I wouldnt bother buying one here, this time of year the choices will be minimal (asos might be your best bet)....There will be loads of them for sale in the Canaries though, treat yourself to one when you get over there !!!!
    Wish I was heading off to the sun soon myself !!

    Thanks. I couldn't find any in the shops here. I might just wait until I get over there. They obviously aren't a big seller here. Do any of the shops here stock them in the summer time?

    Thanks for your reply. Just back from the holiday today. Got one over there. It was a bit strange at first to be wearing a thong on the beach but I got used to it fairly quickly. There were more women wearing them than I expected
