    I have fitted them to a few vw's but not a Passat. Same set up pretty much though. If you are fairly handy at mechanical work it's not overly complicated. Just watch the way everything comes off. I'm actually just going to order one now for a Toledo.

    so worth buying then?
    friend suggested i buy a complete frame etc at scrapyard as easier to install.. but looking €70 for it

    We charge €70 to swop these out in Labour. Wanker of a job to do, but when you do them all the time, they are ok.

    hi, how long roughly does it take to install the Wiring Mechanism onto the frame as may give it a go now
