At a guess, I'd say about 2-2.5 hours each way.

1 hour 45 mins from the M50. Don't take the Cashel exit (signs for Clonmel) as the Cashel/Clonmel road is very poor in bad weather and you are nearly guaranteed to get stuck behind something with few spots to overtake. Take the Cahir exit and follow the signs to Clonmel.

Edit: I lived there for a year and drove to and from Dublin all the time.

Nice one for that lads. Anyone want to drive me down as well? Apparently its too far away :( Sick of having to rely on unreliable people.

Agree with the tip on going to the Cahir exit, easier drive on better road from there to Clonmel.

My journey time from Newlands X to Clonmel is 1hr 30 to 1hr 45 depending on traffic.
