    Got a WonderMedia 8650 from Santa and I want to throw it in the bin :mad:
    Cannot get apps to download from the App store
    Have it connected via WiFi and the browser works fine (so it is connected) but when I go into the App store it says there is no internet connection
    This is only happening since about 2pm
    I've been trying to download apps all day and it shows them downloading but they vanish into thin air
    For someone used to Apple's App store I am completely and utterly pissed off at Santa
    Can anyone help before I dump/accidentally on purpose drop from a height/sell this heap of crap

    :mad::mad::mad:

    Have the same problem with an Android tablet I got. Browses the internet, gets emails fine, but does not let me download from the android market. Using my brothers phone as a Wifi hotspot, I was able to download things, so seems it is likely to be an issue with your router. I have the "standard" eircom one. Oddly enough, my android phone can download from the market fine on Wifi.. maybe its an issue the router has with Gingerbread..

    As a temporary fix, you should be able to download the android app files to a computer then transfer them to the tablet and install.

    This site gives a list of a few different websites that let you download android files.
