Changing aer ligus flight date

    Hi there

    Not sure if this is the right place to have this but i am in a bit of a predicament. Me and my friend booked flights to boston for feb 2012 but didnt tell anyone then her husband booked flights and suprised us with tickets for the following week in feb now we have 2 flights over and back within a week of one another obviously we need to cancel one which im sure aer lingus wont do or will they? Ive looked into changing one flight to the end of the year but wil cost over €450 to do so any other ideas on what we could do?

    Generally they only refund taxes and charges, minus an admin fee...so not a lot.

    have a look at the FAQ part on their website,maybe ring them & explain,they'll have a record of names ect.
