I might as well just get this going... Who's going to Budapest 6-13 August 2012?

For the ones who don't know about Sziget, it's seven days of festival madness on an island in the Danube in Hungary's capital Budapest. Besides music there's almost every kind of festival entertainment you can imagine. First announced act for 2012 is The Stone Roses. About 999 acts should follow. The visitors come from all over Europe (or should I say the world?), giving the festival a unique athmosphere where everyone is international friends.

    Official international website: http://www.szigetfestival.com
Official website for UK and Ireland: http://www.szigetfest.co.uk (due to cheaper payment costs the cheapest way to buy tickets!)

How are people getting there? Return flights to Budapest are around 300 which is very pricey but expected I suppose. I'll probably fly to somewhere nearish (Munich, Bratislava etc) whichever is cheapest when booking and get a train from there.
