    finishing a precast stairs
hi guys, i am looking for a little advice, i am currently building a two storey house and i went with concrete slabs and a precast stairs, i am a little worried about the finish of the stairs. i love the sound insulation that concrete gives under foot but on the other hand i dont want my house to end up looking like a warehouse. i am thinking of finishing the stairs with carpet, wrought iron spindles and some kind of timber panelling to the sides.

looking for any ideas that anyone has.

    thanks.

Worked in a house recently with a precast stairs and we put in oak steps and iron handrail painted black, on the risers they put on cream coloured glass with led spotlights and it looked amazing in the end
