Need to know current ESB/Gas account number to put them in your name? (moved house)

    To get bills in your name, do you need the account number of current bill?
    Friend moved into house and dont know the account numbers.

    Simply call Elec Ireland and open a new account at the new address. You dont need the old occupiers account number, they will have that already.

    Can "switch" via the electric Ireland website also.. aka ESB
