how to remove black sides on plasma as pc monitor

    hi
    i have a pc connected to a panasonic plasma full hd via hdmi
    there are two black areas on the sides, they are narrow, less than 2 cm on each side

    is it possible to remove them? the graphics card is set at 1080p

    Yes it is possible to remove them , what you have there is called the "overscan" problem.

    There should be a utility in your graphics card drive software to correct this. You dont post what card you have , so cant help any further.

    Google either catalyst overscan utility if you have an AMD/ATi card , or Nvidia overscan utility if you have an nvidia card , to find out how to correct this.
