From that...i'll watch Bourne, thought it was the best of the three movies....loved the chemistry between Matt and Franke.

BBC 2 are showing some fantastic 1940s horror/thrillers very late at night for a few nights starting from either the 27th or 28th.

They're all from RKO Studios and produced by Val Lewton, and include classics like Cat People, The Bodysnatcher and I Walked With a Zombie.

They're surprisingly sophisticated, stylistically and psychologically, and are very subtle and low-key, compared to the Universal horrors of the 30s and 40s.

Highly recommended for horror and thriller fans.

It's a pity they're not on till about 1am though.

Horror Channel is also doing some Hammer Glamour run starting tomorrow, not sure of the full details but it's basically the Hammer movies where the women are monsters.

A lot of the movies listed are ones that they show annually this time of the year!

I've already seen The Wizard of Oz four times now courtesy of TCM.
Willy Wonka was on Film 4 the other day. I have the DVD of the Great Escape but that still is always worth a watch.

I will have to scour numerous stations to see what movies are on. Am looking forward to seeing Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
