So 2011 is nearly gone What are your new years resolutions for 2012?



Myself 1st task in the New Year is to successfully mod an xbox without blowing it to bits:D

Pyongyang

1. Go to Japan (already resolved, going in July)

2. 1cc Ibara by 2015.

3. Buy a Virtual Boy that actually works.

4. Buy Armed Police Batrider version B in G-Front or Try.

5. Climb Mount Fuji (booked).

6. Collect more shooting games.

7. Make my blog better.

I thought this thread was going to be about screen resolutions.

Short term:
- Find time over the break to install 360 pad hacks in the cab.
- See if I can connect the modded PS2 to the cab via Sync Strike/Extron RGB for extra shmup goodness (and so I can un-tate my CRT back for MVS use).
- Sell off more un-used stuff.

Long term:
- Hit a million points in Raiden or clear lvl4 on one life, either will do.

I put hours into that game, loved every minute of it..and just can not seem to beat the final boss.

To beat him, you need to parry/riposte. Something which you don't really use through the whole game but then suddenly need to be able to do the end for some reason.

Parry at the wrong time? Get smacked in the face with a sword.

It's hair pulling out kinds of frustration. Mainly because it takes a good while to get to him from the last campfire.

1. Get some cheap retro consoles and not so cheap flash carts.

2. Play the absolute f**king sh1te out of them until I'm sick of old games (probably will never happen)

3. Repeat step 2 many times.

Also with the impending release of the Vita lots of us will be frequenting that particular forum

Setup Spare Monster PC I have setup t0 run as new Mame Cab,

Get HyperSpin to running state, DONE Week One
Now got Mame with set 131 and Project 64 running with all Themes Videos and Wheels.

Next Must start work on getting NES, SNES, Sega Emulators setup too.
Plus Sega Model 2 and M3 Emulators.
