Would they be more expensive then buying direct from Apple?

Same price and anyway you said you wanted it before Christmas. Not going to happen if you buy off them direct.

Yeah argos have them quite cheap actually. I was thinking about getting a 13" macbook pro from their but ended with a 15" from PC World. The 13" I was going to get in argos was only 1099 compared to everywhere else for 1199. Saving 100E! Not too sure about stock levels but you can check on the site and reserve it. That's only if you want a 13" model though.
Other places in Dublin who sell them: Peats, PC World/Curry's, CompuB and Harvey Norman. There are a few other mac only places but I can't remember any of their names.

Macbook Pro's really won't change in price depending on where you buy it from as the premium associated with Apple products.

Ye I seen some of them going a bit cheaper then the apple store but would they be older models or what?

Last time I was in PC World the were older models, I doubt they would be selling them at a loss of 100 euro if they were the newest ones.

PC World have the newest one in stock for the same price as if you were buying off apple directly.

Yeah, got a bit confused when the topic of Argos came up in a thread about the Mac Pro. Two completely different things.
