What has been the thing to bring you back from the brink of utter darkness? I am not in danger, just not feeling in a good place at all :( (I cannot call samaritans as my family are nearby) stressed.out

OP - if you are suffering from depression please go and speak honestly to your GP or reach out to one of the other contacts on our Charter.

There are some very honest and open threads that deal with this on boards at the moment, you may find them on Long Term Illnesses and there is an amazing thread from DeVore in After Hours (warning as it is AH you always need to be prepared for the left of field posts), titled "Let's all laugh at people with depression".

However we are not qualified to help you with this in PI/RI and so however much we want to help I have to close this thread. Please do look into some of the contacts here.
