Neither of those are good value, for €500+ I would expect to be getting an i5 not an i3!
This is what I would consider a benchmark price/spec €450~ for i3-2310M

Can't seem to find anything around the €400 mark, prices seem to have went up a little over the last few weeks.
If your not in a big rush it might be worth holding off until after Christmas as you might get a better deal
