Ligue 1 leaders PSG sack their manager.

Ligue 1 leaders PSG have sacked their manager Antoine Kombouaré. The sacking was a while coming as it was reported a couple of weeks ago that PSG were talking to Ancelotti and he said himself at the start of the season that he would need to be winning to hang onto the position. Just what do you need to do to keep your job? I think they're a club in danger of serious instability if they get rid of managers for no reason.

They have the eyes on Steve Kean :D Venkys are holding out for massive compensation though.

Sven, just has to be Sven...he will then bring Beckham along and next season PSG will be in Ligue 2, and have no money left after what they spent on those 2.

Sounds similar to City to be honest. They couldn't wait to get rid of Hughes so they could get a "big" name in to attract stars etc.

Cant say its something I agree with but certainly seems the only reason here as well.

if the owners didn't hire a manager are they not always in danger of getting the sack? That's what they say anyway

    remember Hughes at city

Rafa was linked a few weeks ago... could be a good job for him considering the money the owners have

PSG not playing like the cash-rich owners like, simples. Get in Carlo, then win league/cup, then sack him after year 2, then get Jose.

FWIW Atletico Madrid are gonna get Rafa after the inevitabe sack of Manzano

It was odd that Rafa was linked to this job, considering one year ago Inter sacked him after winning the World Club Cup in favour of Leonardo who is now a director at PSG. I'd imagine it would be more a job for Ancelotti considering he has a good relationship with Leonardo already

Atletico won't get Rafa either as former Atletico captain Diego Simeone left his job in Argentina two days ago and is rumoured to have been offered the Atletico job already.
