Fire at Broombridge station.

    Maynooth line services currently stopped due to a fire on the line at Broombridge

    The problem here is if they closed the station there would still be things like this happening because people would still be able to access the platforms etc.

    I'm stuck in coolmine and i believe the previous trains are in castleknock ashtown and Navan road. The driver said the fire is on the tracks so i can't see services resuming tonight due to potential track and signalling damage...

    although i just had a few words with the driver who thinks we'll move soon. Hopefully not just one station forward...

    Irish Rail say normal services are resuming, line has now reopened

    I got stuck at the Navan Rd station, around 18:55. Left the train and got the 38A outside the station. No mention of DB taking IE tickets either, so had to pay again.
